All She Wrote is a Craft Fair regular and favorite, playing exquisite versions of classic 60’s & 70’s folk side–by–side with original songs you won’t soon forget. From their unforgettable version of PP&M’s “Polly Von” to the original “Love is Something,” the songs are touching, melodic, and filled with well–placed three–part harmonies and exceptional guitar playing.
Bill Robinson’s Wildlife Show — Bill’s specialty is predatory birds, amphibians, snakes and perhaps an added surprise at the fair. Imagine a hawk with a huge wingspan flying over your head as Bill calls to it from across the tent. Children love to be called to the stage to assist in his presentation. Have your camera ready!
Marc Von Em — A soulful singer–songwriter, Marc has worked his way up through coffee houses and bars to prestigious bills joining Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20) in 2005 as a vocalist/guitarist touring the globe. Marc continues his solo career playing venues from New York to Seattle.
Eric Erickson — Known as Woodstock’s EXTRA–sensitive Singer–Songwriter, Eric plays original and familiar songs with a voice reminiscent of James Taylor. Add a trace of Lowell George, Tim Buckley, Pete Seeger, and maybe even a little Randy Newman!
Sweet Clementines call the Hudson Valley their home. Their easy, rollicking exteriors disguise a depth of musical sophistication: quirky, folky, heartfelt and expertly played. With nods to XTC, Costello, hints of cabaret and tango alongside Byrds’ country rock, Kinks Brit pop, and ’60s arcania; the common threads are melodic abundance, verbal and musical wit, and a playful, irreverent grasp of pop and rock traditions.
The Cupcakes - Start with Lyn Hardy, Janice Kollar, and Elly Wininger; stir in six instruments and awards for songwriting. Sprinkle with lots of CDs, jingles, and tours with famous people. Ice the whole thing with humor and harmony and that’s the recipe for The Cupcakes!
Marcille Wallis, of Port Charlotte, Florida, is a classically trained pianist who began playing Hammer Dulcimer in 1991. She has combined the influences of her Scots-Irish ancestry, Southern Appalachian heritage and years of playing both piano & folk guitar to create a uniquely elegant, yet intense style.
